Alt Ethos agrees to carry Minimum Insurance coverage as follows:

A. Workers Compensation insurance with statutory limits as required by Colorado law.

B. Business Insurance with limits of $20,000 per accident, $1,000,000 aggregate.

C. Commercial Liability insurance not less than $1,000,000 combined single limits for bodily injury and property damage. In the event any work is performed by another contractor, the Subcontractor shall be responsible for any liability directly or indirectly arising out of work performed under this agreement by the other contractor, which liability is not covered by the other contractor’s insurance.

D. Vehicle Liability insurance for all rented vehicles.

E. Professional Liability insurance with not less than $250,000 in per occurrence and $250,000 aggregate.

Representations & Warranties

One (1) Year Limited Warranty

Contractor warrants software products and services supplied by it to be free from any defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation to Prime Contractor. Contractor’s entire liability, and Prime Contractor’s sole and exclusive remedy, resulting from any defects in workmanship in the software product and services covered by this limited warranty shall be limited to and fully discharged by, at the Contractor’s option, either the repair of such software product or its replacement with the same or a like product without charge.

This warranty does not apply to any non-Alt Ethos branded hardware products, even if hardware is installed by Alt Ethos. Manufacturers, suppliers, or publishers, other than Alt Ethos, may provide their own warranties to you but Alt Ethos, in so far as permitted by law, provides their products "AS IS". Contractor will transfer all product warranties to the Company upon final acceptance of the system.

FAQ About our Five Year Warranty

Working with complex technology can be daunting. How do you maintain reliability? What do you do when trouble arises? What if your design/production partner eased this worry for you? Remote management is included with all of our installations by default. We regularly check-in to ensure smooth operation and catch issues before they cause a problem. If problems do occur, we can diagnose and provide a fix in a matter of hours, not days.

We want to give you peace of mind and confidence when investing your time and money in experiential design. Having a track record of successful installations is not enough for us. We want to back our work with a clearly defined promise that guarantees reliability and ease of use.

Why Offer a Warranty?

Alt Ethos uses reliable, trial-tested technology, giving you the highest quality. However, like a great, reliable car needs maintenance, so might your permanent installation. What if, when your activation breaks down, your budget is allocated to other budget items? What would it cost you in terms of lost revenue and brand image to have an activation down for a long period? Alt Ethos cares about your investments; this is why we recommend our 5 year warranty plan.

Each project is custom made, tested before installation and comes standard with a one year warranty. Innovation should not mean unreliable; that's why we stand behind our work. The last thing you need is an exhibit with an “out of service” sign.

What does the warranty cover?

Our permanent installations always include a one year warranty with an option for an extended warranty for up to five years.

We provide monthly remote check-ins, regular software updates, hardware use monitoring, and dedicated support contact.

Our warranties cover our permanent installations/designs, including both the hardware and software. If software does not work as intended, needs to be updated, or has any other issue, we will fix it (usually remotely!)

How is the warranty provided?

We will respond within 24 hours when a client contacts us about an issue. Within the following 48 hours we will diagnose the issue and create a plan to get your installation working as quickly as possible. Most problems can be diagnosed and fixed remotely. If not possible, a team will be dispatched.

How much does the warranty cost?

All of our projects include a 1 year warranty by default. There is no extra cost to you for this 1 year of coverage - it comes out of our bottom line. This coverage can be extended to a period of up to 5 years, based on the total cost of the project:

  • 2 Year Warranty Extension - 4% of total cost
  • 3 Year Warranty Extension - 3.4% (15% discount)
  • 5 Year Warranty Extension - 3% (25% discount)
